Sony Pictures and MGM have released trailers for the reboot of a classic film The Magnificent Seven. The original film in the 1960 was inspired by the acclaimed auteur Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 classic The Seven Samurai. The Magnificent Seven was directed by John Sturges that starred Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn, Robert Vaughn, Brad Dexter and Jorge Martinez de Hoyos as the seven unlikely heroes that band together to protect a Mexican village from the outlaws led by Eli Wallach. The 2016 version take place in Rose Creek control by the ruthless industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard) where the town people are desperate seeking the help of seven mercenaries for their protections. They are outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns. These seven mercenaries are Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). This time the motley crew might have taken a job more than they can chew as the showdown is near. Other cast includes Haley Bennett, Matt Bomer, Billy Slaughter and Vinnie Jones. Nic Pizzolatto of True Detective is the screen writer. Antoine Fuqua ( Southpaw, The Equalizer, Training Day, Olympus Has Fallen) serve as the director. The Magnificent Seven is set to hit theatre on September 23rd.
