Meet The Real Life Church

It was a sad day when Ellis Hutson found Bart the cat dead. He’d had Bart since he was a kitten, and to find his lifeless body laying in a pool of blood in the middle of the road, was something Ellis never wanted to do. Ellis managed to move Bart’s body to the side of the road, and went to get his friend David.

“We were so close, I couldn’t stand to bury him. I put him on the shoulder of the road and went and got David. He dug a hole and covered up the cat with dirt. I witnessed him bury the cat.”

And the sad story comes to an end. And the horror movie begins.

5 days later, a neighbor came across Bart in her yard. Very damaged, and very much alive. She returned Bart to a very surprised Ellis.

“I saw him with my own eyes. I know he was dead. He was cold and stiff” -Neighbor Dusty Albritton.

Like in the novel (and subsequent movies) Pet Sematary, Bart had clawed his way out of the grave and made his way home, just as the demonic Church had before him.

And the horror story ends and a happy story of  a grieving cat owner being reunited with a friend thought lost begins.

Bart was taken to the local Human Society and has been treated for a broken jaw, a ruined eye, and open facial wounds. He is expected to return home in the next few days.

Bart’s treatment will cost Ellis around $2000 dollars, which Ellis is willing to pay to get his pal back. Friend and death pronouncer Dusty Albritton has started a GoFundMe page to help Ellis pay for Bart’s treatment.

Let’s just be sure we keep Gage far away from the road now…

I love my cat but $2,000 is where I draw the line

  • That’s creepy stuff! Maybe I shouldn’t have buried that guinea pig in the backyard…
