Outside of Takoma, Washington, military joint base Lewis-McChord recently hosted an unexpected, and unique, visitor: a fully drivable HALO Warthog vehicle. The vehicle boasts armor plating, huge all terrain tires, and even a mounted Anti-AirCraft gun. The vehicle is an exact replica of the iconic vehicle of the Halo series.
While the vehicle LOOKS real, the gun and armor are completely fictional. The vehicles are leftovers from when Microsoft attempted to produce a live action film (with Guillermo Del Toro at the helm), but later abandoned the project. Although the film was canceled, they did manage to make a few life like Warthogs before it was canceled.
