Disney’s Frozen Sequel Confirmed

“We’re taking you back to Arendelle,” said John Lasseter, the Chief Creative Officer of Disney in am investor’s meeting held recently. A sequel had been long expected but now Disney have officially confirmed it.

The majority of the creative team, including directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, will be back for the second film. Voice over actors Josh Gad and Kristen will be back as well.

The decision to make a sequel was surely a no brainer. Frozen is one of the most lucrative films ever released by Disney. Bob Iger, CEO of Disney, said: ” it’s our top, probably, five franchises.”

According to CNN:

“Since the first film hit theaters in November 2013, it has earned more than $1.2 billion. It has also spawned theme park rides, merchandise, and a short film ‘Frozen Fever,’ among other extensions.”

So parents, or anybody with siblings, better resign themselves that they’re in it for the long haul. Many a ‘Frozen’ night are in your future.
