If you are a parent or have younger siblings, I’m sure you’ve been forced to sit through an episode or two of Adventure time at least once. Well, now, Cartoon Network has decided to take the TV show to the big screen.

The director of The Lego Batman movie (Chris Mackay) and Lego Movie producer (Roy Lee) will produce a feature length version of the animated TV show.

According to Deadline:

“A number of celebs have lent their voices to the fun romp through the Land of Ooo, including George Takei, Pee-Wee Herman’s Paul Reubens, Neil Patrick Harris, and Andy Samberg.”

At the moment not much is know besides the fact that the film is being developed, so there is no way of knowing if any of the aforementioned high profile celebs will be making appearances.

Adventure Time centered around Finn, a twelve year old boy, and his best friend Jake, a dog, who bravely fight in their never-ending quest of protecting their beloved Land of Ooo.
