It’s amazing what music adds to a movie trailer.
Don’t you wish that you had a soundtrack to accompany you’re life? I do. I mean, soundtracks make everything so much more interesting. Just look at movie trailers, they’re always exciting, fun, or whatever mood the music brings to it. Until you see a movie trailer without the music. Then it’s just odd.
And that’s exactly what we have with an odd movie trailer for the upcoming Tom Cruise flick The Mummy. It seems that an IMAX trailer was mistakenly uploaded to YouTube that is missing the music, and some special effects sounds, while retaining the dialogue. Although, the dialogue of the trailer is really no more than odd grunts and screams.
Now, I really didn’t have much interest in watching the movie before, but after seeing the trailer, I may change my mind. Now I actually want to see the movie without the soundtrack. I think it would be a lot more fun than what we’ll probably see in the theater.
I mean, Tom Cruise’s scream alone is more than worth the cost of admission.
