Sony Pictures releases their Super Bowl trailer for new movie Life a day early.
Everyone knows that Super Bowl commercials are expensive. Super expensive. On average, a 30 second segment of add time costs $5 million. Yet, there seems to be no shortage of people wishing to buy that ad space, because really, when else are you going to get that many eyes on your advertisement. The commercials have become an event in and of themselves, with many advertisers pulling out the best and funniest. In all honesty, it’s those commercials that I look most forward to during the football season.
All this begs a question, if a company is spending that kind of cash on a commercial, why would they premier the ad the day before the big game? Well that wouldn’t make sense now would it? Apparently it makes perfect sense to Sony Pictures who has done just that.
Sony Pictures today released the trailer for the upcoming space flick Life. You can watch the trailer below. It seems a group of astronauts have stumbled across alien life, and while cute, the alien doesn’t see to be all that frendly. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, Rebecca Ferguson, Olga Dihovichnaya, Ariyon Bakare, and Hiroyuki Sanada, Life hits theaters March 24th.
