Netflix has decided to make a TV adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events.’ Snicket’s children’s series composed of 13 books, follows siblings Violet, Klaus, ad Sunny Baudelaire after the death of their parents. They are put in the custody of Count Olaf, who seeks to acquire the children’s inheritance.
When Snicket was asked his opinion on the upcoming Netflix adaptation of his book series he jokingly said, “I can’t believe it, after years of providing top-quality entertainment on demand, Netflix is risking its reputation and its success by associating itself with my dismaying and upsetting books.”
