One of Stephen King’s scariest and most iconic characters is coming back to scare a new generation later this year.
It tells the tale of disappearing children and a murderous clown. Released in 1986, Stephen King’s story first graced the small screen in 1990. It starred Tim Curry as the creepy clown, and it could be argued that that miniseries prompted an epidemic of clourophobia (fear of clowns).
Warner Bros. Pictures is bringing this story back to life on the big screen, and released the first teaser today.
It hits theaters September 8.
