Fox has decided to give us a second season of Batman origin story ‘Gotham.’ The decision was a no-brainer. The show has performed remarkably well, with Gotham creating lots of noise on social media. Gotham has averaged 10.6 million viewers and 4.2 rating in adults 18-49 in Nielsen’s live-plus-7 ratings.
According to IGN:
As for Gotham, Dana Walden. Co-Chairman/CEO, Fox Television Group told reporters that they “love the show” and the only note they’ve given the creators in moving forward is: “keep doing what you’re doing.”
“We’ve just seen episode 14,” Walden said. “And it just keeps getting better.”
“Gotham,” the Batman origins story, hails from Warner Bros. TV and exec producer Bruno Heller, Danny Cannon and John Stephens. Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue and Jada Pinkett-Smith star.
