Death Note Goes To Netflix

Death Note is a comic from Japan that has a huge global following. It has been made in a cartoon or animé series a couple times and even into a theatrical play with song and dance. It was first reported that Warner Bros studios was going to do the live action movie, but they have since walked away from the movie. Netflix has picked up the film and has signed mostly American stars to play a Japanese (15)

Willem Dafoe has been casted as the death god Ryuk. The story follows a boy who finds a weapon in a form of a notebook , where if you write someone’s name in it they will die.
