Ever feel like murdering someone at work? Well this movie is for you.
Here’s the idea behind The Belko Experiment. You take a business. An office building full of people. You trap those people inside, and force them to kill each other.
Not the most uplifting of movies is it?
Honestly, we’ve seen this genre of movie before. From “The Purge” to “31” the basic concept is fairly similar. The difference in concept here, is that it is coworkers trapped in the building together.
Ok, that’s not the only difference. There’s another big difference. A lot of very recognizable actors. A lot of very good very recognizable actors. The film stars John Gallagher Jr, Tony Goldwyn, Adria Arjona, John C. McGinley, Josh Brener, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, and Melonie Diaz.
The official synopsis reads below;
The Belko Experiment explores a twisted social experiment, in which a group of 80 Americans are locked in their high-rise corporate office in Bogata and ordered by an unknown voice on an intercom system to participate in a deadly game of kill or be killed. It stars 10 Cloverfield Lane‘s John Gallagher Jr., Scandal‘s Tony Goldwyn, True Detective‘s Adria Arjona, John C. McGinley, Silicon Valley‘s Josh Brener, Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn and Melonie Diaz, who co-starred in Fruitvale Station.
Well, that didn’t really do anything to pique my interest…. the trailer on the other hand…
Ok, I’m in!
