I’ve got bad news and I’ve got good news. Ever since the Batman: Arkham Knight was announced I’ve been dying to get my hands on it. The much anticipated game was originally scheduled for a release of fall 2014 but was pushed back several months to a release date of June 2nd. Now the video game’s release has been delayed yet again. This time only 21 days. The new scheduled release date is June 23rd and let’s pray it doesn’t get delayed any more.

If you’re anything like me, you’re impatiently waiting for this game, scrounging the Internet for new tidbits of information on what to expect. Well this news will come across as bitter sweet when you hear the positive part in this. Along with news of the delay, Rocksteady has released a new trailer for the game named “Officer Down.” Well played Rocksteady, well played. Watch the trailer below:

Official Statment:
Batman: Arkham Knight will now launch worldwide on June 23, 2015. We’re a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it’s going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy. As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight.

Thanks so much from everyone at Rocksteady for your continued support. We are working as hard as we can to make you proud.
