The Pull List

Good evening, folks! It’s Wednesday. For most, it’s just another day. Another day of work, another day of school, another day of routine. And for many, routines can get monotonous. However, of you’re like me, there’s one particular routine that happens every Wednesday (barring holidays), that never gets monotonous.  New Comic Book day! I know that there are some comic book fans in house based off of the views of the comic book movie trailers that we post here. But how many of you readers actually collect these literary masterpieces? I know I sure do! I’m a DC Comics fan. I can’t get enough of ’em! Now, that’s not to say that Marvel Comics and the other comic book companies aren’t putting out some great material, but I do prefer DC Comics over the rest. And since new comics are released every Wednesday, I’ve decided that I’d give you fine folks a brief rundown of my comics Pull List, every Wednesday. So, what did I pick up this week? Glad ya asked!

Action Comics #975“SUPERMAN REBORN” part two! Celebrating our 975th issue with a supersize special as another layer of the Superman/Clark Kent mystery is exposed! And in a backup story written by Paul Dini with art by Ian Churchill, learn what it all means for the Son of Superman, who is the prize in a deadly game!

Womder Woman #18: “GODWATCH” part two! Godwatch grows, and Diana has her first encounter with the ghost in the machine known as Dr. Cyber!

Suicide Squad #13: “BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE” part three! Shot. Stabbed. Beaten. Maimed. Brought back from the edge of death and sent out to do it all over again and again and again. This has been the life of Floyd Lawton, a.k.a. Deadshot. But not anymore. The moment Suicide Squad fans never thought would come finally arrives when Deadshot achieves that which no one else has: escape! All it will cost is one of his teammates’ lives…

Justice League of America #2: “THE EXTREMISTS” part two! Believing heroes to be threats to the survival of any world, Lord Havok and the Extremists have already murdered the mightiest heroes from their home dimension. To save our Earth they’d kill thousands more, starting with the newly formed JLA. But eye-to-eye, are Havok’s and Batman’s goals that different? Billions of lives depend on the answer.

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #16: “QUEST FOR THE BLUE LANTERNS” part three! Guy Gardner sets out on a one-man mission to take out the one Sinestro Corps ring slinger everyone’s afraid of: Arkillo! Can this Green Lantern with a grudge take down this monstrous alien and prove he’s still the toughest guy in the cosmos to carry a power battery? As Guy’s hope for a fair fight wanes, Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner streak across the galaxy in a last-ditch effort to find Saint Walker of the Blue Lanterns and ensure that the blue light of hope isn’t extinguished.

Detective Comics #952: “League Of Shadows” part three! Batman’s team faces the League of Shadows, which believes in only one thing: complete and utter destruction! The League’s plan for the city is revealed…but can even that secret compare to the bombshell that is the identity of Cassandra Cain’s mother?
