The Justice League Dark live action movie was thought to have been scrapped in favor of a cartoon. Now it appears this is not the case.
It was just a short while ago that we told you that the live action Justice League Dark movie was being made in to a cartoon instead. That appears to have been wrong. While there is indeed an animated movie on the way, we saw the sneak peak here, the live action movie appears to still be a thing.
Justice League Dark follows the more adult, magical, well… dark side of the DC Universe. Starring Constantine, Swamp Thing, Black Orchid and the Demon, it’s definitely not your everyday Justice League.
The live action movie was planned to be helmed by Guillermo del Toro, who I would have loved to see take on Swamp Thing, but he is no longer attached to the film. Instead, Doug Liman is set to direct with Scott Rudin producing and Michael Gillo handling the script.
The question is, seeing how dark Zack Snyder has made the Batman and Superman characters, shall we expect to see the JLA Dark movie to just be a black screen?
